After more than three years, RedFeather has completed an EP’s worth of material – lushly orchestrated, propulsive yet atmospheric space folk driven by the powerfully haunting calls of frontman Mark Etherington – and presents the finished product, Moon, during the monthly Final Friday showcase of homegrown musical talent at WovePrint.co Loft. RedFeather plays two sets in honor of the occasion on this night, with warm-up from alternative roots-folk songstress Jun純 and loops-fueled experimenters Mouth Council, and a late night set by avant-electro guitar-and-board juggler Rogerthomas.
I inaccurately included this release show in the paper as happening on Saturday (tomorrow), when in actuality, the celebratory festivities are being held tonight. My apologies.
