At this point it's no secret that we have some affinity for Beach House Sundays at Shephard's Beach Resort.

The event that we've branded the 'best party on the beach' has brought in internationally renown talent week after week this summer, and the people have taken notice. Almost every Sunday on the Shephard's pool deck has been packed and for good reason.

So maybe it wasn't as surprising that the weekend after the Fourth was a little less rowdy, with everyone having partied all week long.

On a slightly cooler summer night, we arrived to a well attended, yet spacious Shephard's pool deck ready to hear some tunes from rising electronic star SNBRN.

The L.A. native began releasing music under the moniker in 2014, and quickly picked up a following around the country. Within a year, he was playing sets at big time festivals, such as Tampa's own Sunset Music Festival.

He's known for his unique blend of tropical house and dance tunes, mixing in samples of hip-hop to make for a vibe-heavy sound.

After an exhilarating set by Croatia Squad, SNBRN took the tiki deck by storm. The beginning of his set was floored by house-oriented jams and Shephard's equally enthralling stage production. With such a vibe heavy set, the extra space on the Shephard's pool deck was surely appreciated, as fans got the opportunity to get closer to the stage or spread out to dance.

Halfway through he returned the party vibe that has become so prevalent at Shephard's, by mixing in several hit rap and hip-hop songs.

In what was definitely a more laid-back Beach House Sunday, the Sunday after the Fourth was one of the more chill and fun atmospheres that Shephard's has hosted this summer.

Next week, we turn things back up with trap star Party Favor.
