After 33 shows across the United States, Lil Tecca landed at The Ritz in Ybor City for the finale of his โ€œTecca Loves Youโ€ tour on Saturday night.

In his first headlining tour, the 19-year-old rap sensation made it apparent that he missed his fans as much as they have missed him. After the pandemic robbed many artists of most live music events in 2020 and 2021, Lil Tecca was back with more energy than ever. Along with him, Tecca brought emerging artists Baby Santana and Bktherula to open the stage and ignite the madness that ensued.

Lil Teccaโ€™s performance started when the lights went out and the crowd chanting, โ€œWe want Tecca!” In a sea of cellphone lights, Lil Tecca ran out on to the stage with incredible energy leading off with โ€œLot of Meโ€. After โ€œDid It Againโ€ and โ€œDIVAโ€, Tecca had made it clear the crowd was in for a great show. In reciprocation, the crowd was ecstatic as they moshed around and seemingly knew every word.

As Tecca continued to songs like โ€œChoppa Shoot The Loudestโ€ and โ€œFallinโ€, the array of light beams and precise use of CO2 cannons gave the show a Rolling Loud esque feel. Concluding with โ€œRepeat Itโ€ and Teccaโ€™s most notorious record โ€œRansomโ€, Tecca gave his all for his last performance of the tour.

As he fell to his knees in a circle of light, he thanked his fans for their continued support, and in true touring fashion exclaimed โ€œThank you all, this is the last show of the tourโ€ฆ Iโ€™m going home,โ€ and did not return for an encore despite the crowd calling for “One more song.”

Earlier in the evening, Bktherula turned the crowd from dormant to excited in a matter of seconds with hits such as โ€œLEFT RIGHTโ€ and โ€œSantannyโ€. After her set, she graciously met with fans at the front of the stage. Next, Baby Santana piggy backed off Bkโ€™s amazing start with hits like โ€œ14โ€ and โ€œPatriciaโ€. At the close of his set, Santana fell to his knees in praise as tears welled in his eyes, thanking the crowd and his fans for their support. Both Bk and Santana did an impeccable job engaging with the crowd, getting close, shaking hands, and allowing some lucky fans time to rap on the microphone.

Not to be overlooked, the Ritz Ybor featured crisp sound and vigilant safety personnel who handed out waters to dehydrated fans and kept the event safe.
