There are nights when chaos feels right. Disorder, confusion and and an always changing mental state feels good sometimes because, for the most part, that's what life feels like — especially when you're 22-years old.

Most of Chicago, Illinois rock & roll outfit Twin Peaks are barely old enough to drink the America they were swigging onstage at Crowbar in Ybor City, Florida on Wednesday (sorry Colin, you're not that old anyway and you kill it on the falsetto and shredding, dude), and the same went for most of the audience.

There were some borderline fogeys in the crowd, but they were there to catch a glimpse of what, in a perfect world should be the future: a band, onstage calling out the people at the bar for being on their phones and giving props the the ones in front of them sweating it out in a pit, crowd surfing, losing shit out of their pockets and lifting each other up off the ground.

"This is my squad right now," bassist Jack Dolan said at one point in the night, "you all been holding me down."

He would prove that point and return the favor during the encore, when about half of the gathered humans found their way onstage for a sing along.

Twin Peaks feels like friends, and it's probably because most of the guys in the band grew up together on some Stranger Things, best buds type of shit.
