Ricky Wilcox and the Moonsnakes, which ended a two-year hiatus during WMNFโ€™s Tom Petty birthday tribute in October, was supposed to appear on a bill headlined by local pop-punk royalty Barely Pink, about to celebrate 20 years of its third and most recent studio album Last Day of Summer.

But on Wednesday morning, Barely Pink guitarist Mark Warren tested positive for COVID-19, so while he figures out when to schedule a separate gig celebrating the big 2-0, Wilcox headlines this show instead.

Joining in will be Florida, the new band from famed Bay area guitarist and songwriter Billy Summer who just released Metal Detector, an absolute ripper of a power-pop album, in November.

Tickets to see Ricky Wilcox and the Moonsnakes play St. Pete’s Bayboro Brewing on Friday, Dec. 8 are still available and start at $10.
