The Tampa Bay music scene has watched The Ries Brothers grow up, and this month, the boys want to give residents a peek into the lives they’ve cultivated.

Over the last decade, Charlie (drummer, lead vocalist and multi instrumentalist) and Kevin (vocals and guitar) have gigged more or less incessantly, becoming the youngest act to ever get top billing at the Clearwater Jazz Holiday, while landing gigs on tour with Chicago, G. Love, and more. As their rock sound has moved towards reggae, The Ries Brothers have also found themselves on the bill for St. Petersburg megafestival Reggae Rise Up.

In partnership with Clearwater Young Professionals, The BayCare Sound welcomes Charlie and Kevin for an evening of networking where they’ll offer a backstage pass into their lives. Promotional material says the free event includes a free first drink, tours of the newish venue, plus a DJ, games, food trucks and more.

There’s no cover for the young professionals summer session with The Ries Brothers happening Thursday, June 27 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m., but registration is encouraged via rutheckerdhall.com.
