We don’t get a lot of supergroup concerts in Tampa Bay, but half of Zoink Gang will be co-headlining his debut St. Petersburg show. J.I.D—whose latest album The Forever Story features guest spots from Lil Wayne and his pals in EarthGang, and was perhaps last year’s best rap LP—has never been to the Bay at all, having mainly stuck to Rolling Loud on his Florida ventures.

Smino—who will most likely be focusing on his new album from last fall, Luv 4 Rent—was at Okeechobee last year, but has also torn up the since-shuttered Ybor City Orpheum as recently as 2019.

We love our opening acts, but we’re glad that the two emcees are gonna get straight to it without any warmups.
