Rock and roll trio Johnny Mile & The Kilometers has a new moniker—Night Child—and an updated sound that keeps all the grit and peacocking of its progenitor intact while adding a welcome layer of power-pop sheen.

The band is joined at this staple-of-the-Christmas-season show by Filipino pop songwriter Raquel Lily and Bay area Americana band Urbane Cowboys, which now features the big ass kickdrum of Alton Plemmons who normally keeps times for grunge duo Hovercar.

Tickets to see Night Child and more play Tampa’s Hooch and Hive on Friday, Dec. 22 are still available and cost $15.
