Rapper Rod Wave is once again throwing a giant birthday party.

Rodarius Marcell Green, a  St. Petersburg-born superstar from  Lakewood High School, announced this morning that his annual Birthday Bash will once again go down at Tampa’s Amalie Arena on Saturday, August 24, at 7 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Friday, June 28, at 10:00 a.m. on Ticketmaster.com.

As usual, the full lineup has yet to be announced, but like the previous b-day parties, there’s usually a heavy roster of “mystery guests.”

Known for an emotional style of rap and pop, Mr. โ€œStreet Runnerโ€ has the unique pleasure of joining mega-pop star Taylor Swift as the only two artists to top the Billboard 200 for the past three years.
