Meteoreyes (stylized โ€œMeteorEYESโ€) lead singer Shannon Fortner spent most of their fall somewhat hobbled after a long-awaited knee replacement. They appear to be mostly healed up, because the Sarasota-based โ€œelectro-rock-synth-popโ€ trio headlines a gig that also features alternative-rock duo Dead Diplomatโ€”also from Sarasotaโ€”celebrating the release of its heavily-synthed, straightforward debut album Happy Kids.

Tickets to see Meteoreyes and more play Bradenton’s Oscura on Friday, Dec. 15 are still available and cost $5.
