New Port Richey’s haven for hard music is in trouble—and it’s calling on hardcore, punk, metal and alternative rock fans throughout Tampa Bay for an assist. The venue trumps its motto of “built by musicians, for musicians,” but it needs a little help keeping that platitude alive.
Tampa-based metal bands performing at this fundraiser are the appropriately-named Burning Fair Verona, Screaming At The Silence, Chlover and Forgiving Silence. Tickets are only $10 at the door, and every dollar helps this self-sustaining venue stick around and host more shows (as of Thursday, a GoFundMe page raised $2,230 of its $12,000 goal).
Save the Verona Benefit: Screaming At The Silence w/Chlover/more. Sat. Feb. 1, 7 p.m. $10. The Verona, New Port Richey.
