The canine-themed Pinellas Ale Works (PAW) puts its money where its mouth is with weekly “Yappy Hour” benefiting local animal charities plus this weekend’s second iteration of a Punks for Paws fundraiser—rescheduled from April 2020—benefiting St. Pete’s Friends of Strays animal shelter.

If you didn’t notice by the event name, most of the bands playing are in the punk family and from, or not too far from, Tampa Bay. Spring Hill’s Samsara, All She Wrote from Clearwater, St. Pete’s Human Error and Tampa’s Arcane Arcade are all on the bill, and no matter your Saturday plans are, there’s plenty of time to catch a band or two—the event starts at 1 p.m. and goes until midnight.

A $10 donation gets you in; if you can’t make it, you can still donate via friendsofstrays.salsalabs.org.

Punks for Paws 2! Samsara w/All She Wrote/Dangerpin/The Prople/Arcane Arcade/theCurse!/Lot Lizards/more. Saturday, Nov. 13, 1 p.m. $10. Pinellas Ale Works, St. Petersburg. @pinellasaleworks on Facebook
