Joe Jackson’s catalog is overwhelming, and the sounds on his 21 studio albums are all over the place, too. Trust that the 64-year-old has a steady grasp on it, however, and expect him to curate his set at the legendary Tampa Theatre to please fans of every era who’ll flock downtown to see this “Four Decade” tour happening in support of Jackson’s new album, Fool.

Super fans who want to take the Joe Jackson experience a little further can take a long lunch and head south of Gandy where Jackson’s touring band (bassist Graham Maby, guitarist Teddy Kumpel and drummer Doug Yowell) will present a 1 p.m. workshop and special performance at Replay Guitar exchange.

Information on these events (show at Tampa Theatre on Sat. May 25 at 8 p.m., clinic at 1 p.m. at Replay) is available via tampatheatre.org and replayguitar.com.
