We say it every time: a Selwyn Birchwood show isn’t a rare occurrence in Tampa Bay (we’re lucky to be the hometown of this gravel-voiced, national blues scene favorite). You don’t get a lot of chances, however, to see the always-smiling Birchwood play his special brand of funky swamp-swimmin’ blues both underneath the Skipperdome and on a bill with throwback jazz singer Gloria West.
