The 56-year old Guns N’ Roses guitarist has been to Tampa before—with and without the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer band—but Ruth Eckerd is a new venue for both him and Myles Kennedy, with whom he’s been collaborating with since 2009.

If you’re looking for something to build your hair-metalhead anticipation, the two just released a new record,  “4,” last month.

While the show is mainly going to center around that rather than the Guns N’ Roses tunes that put Slash on the map, you don’t just turn down a chance to see a guitar legend like that. Because when push comes to shove, who needs Axl Rose and his bullshit?
