The MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater becomes a cathedral of metal on Friday when it plays host to the fifth leg of last tour ever from godly thrash band Slayer. Formed in 1981, the band introduced a hybrid of metal and punk that would influence countless bands, including metal giants like Cannibal Corpse, Lamb of God and Amon Amarth, which all join Slayer on the Tampa stop of this epic, never-ending farewell.
