Smooth jazz WJST may longer be a fixture on Bay area radio dials, but here’s a concert that fans of the station would’ve flocked to. Grammy-nominated saxophonist Dave Koz joins a stellar backing cast — South African guitarist-singer Jonathan Butler, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Manchester (“Midnight Blue, “Don’t Cry Out Loud”), Copenhagen-born jazz-soul saxophonist Michael Lington and special guest Chris Walker (singer, bassist and former musical director for Al Jarreau) — for a night of holiday classics and hits from their respective catalogs.

Dave Koz. Mon. Dec. 3, 7:30 p.m. $37-$100. Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater. rutheckerdhall.com.
