Most fans know him as the drummer of Son Lux, and Ian Chang will have to do his best try and stand out when he opens for electro-pop-xotica band Sound of Ceres (which features members of Apples in Stereo and the Drums) at Hooch and Hive.

Chang comes well-armed, however, thanks to his epileptic nightmare of a live set up which is built around a translucent drum kit that lights up based on the way Chang bangs his way through a primal show that’s both humanistic and technical at the same time.
