Interpol has the distinct displeasure of opening for Morrissey on a 14-date U.S. tour (the Moz has canceled or postponed 141 concerts since 2012), so we’re glad to see the New York-based band in the headlining slot for this Mahaffey Theater show in support of a 2018 album, Marauder, which found the group reinventing itself and turning in some of the brightest hooks of Interpol’s nearly 20-year career.

Expect Interpol to also play songs from its forthcoming EP, A Fine Mess, and definitely get there on time to see Speedy Ortiz and its frontwoman Sadie Dupuis showcase the sharpest set of songs that she’s ever written (Twerp Verse, released last year).
