Los Angeles' Prosthetic Records is a nearly two decades old metal label that's released albums by Lamb of God, Gojira, The Acacia Strain and even St. Petersburg post-rock outfit Set and Setting. Their current roster features almost 50 artists, and now another St. Pete band — Weltesser — can count themselves among that group.

On Saturday, the band — Ian Hronek, Nate Peterson and Mike Amador — released their new album, Crestfallen, at one of Central Avenue's more storied dives, The Emerald.

Brian Mahar was on hand to grab a few photos of Weltesser plus opening bands Alex NicosiaShadow Hunter and Ad Nauseum. Have a look — and listen to the album — below. Call your local record store to see if they are carrying the release. Check out live audio from the gig on YouTube.
