The third annual save-the-manatees benefit goes down with a smorgasbord of local punk rock bands.

Chulismo, the “fuzz induced groove oriented” garage-punk trio from St. Pete, headlines the show. The band’s latest single, “D.U.I,” dropped in January.

As always, all proceeds will go to the late Jimmy Buffett’s Save the Manatee Club and the Florida Springs Institute, which strives to educate people about “protection of Florida’s springs and the aquatic ecosystems they support.”

Tickets to the Punk Manatee Benefit happening Saturday, June 14 inside The Nest at St. Pete Brewing Co are still available for $8. Readers are invited to submit their own events to Creative Loafing Tampa Bay’s things to do calendar.
