The third annual save-the-manatees benefit goes down with a smorgasbord of local punk rock bands.

Chulismo, the “fuzz induced groove oriented” garage-punk trio from St. Pete, headlines the show. The band’s latest single, “D.U.I,” dropped in January.

As always, all proceeds will go to the late Jimmy Buffettโ€™s Save the Manatee Club and the Florida Springs Institute, which strives to educate people about โ€œprotection of Floridaโ€™s springs and the aquatic ecosystems they support.โ€

Tickets to the Punk Manatee Benefit happening Saturday, June 14 inside The Nest at St. Pete Brewing Co are still available for $8. Readers are invited to submit their own events to Creative Loafing Tampa Bayโ€™s things to do calendar.
