Rumors are circulating that St. Pete venue Local 662 will be closing in June 2017 to make way for retail.

Details are still unclear, but St. Pete promoter Nick Marcisin wrote this on his Facebook page today.

We Regret to inform you that yes, the rumors are true, The Local 662 will be closing at the end of June !!

This is due to new ownership of the block. Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing we can do.

I will still be filling some dates up for weekdays and some weekends.

All good things have to come to an end sometime and it has been an amazing decade of awesome shows and good friends.
