Reggae Rise Up is one of downtown St. Petersburg’s most popular music festivals, and has packed Vinoy Park for the last five years.
That changed, slightly, in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic that forced Reggae Rise Up to nix its original 2020 dates (March 20-22) in favor of new ones in the fall (October 2-4). What that move comes lineup tweaks.
Major headliners—Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Slightly Stoopid, Dirty Heads, Iration, SOJA, & Nahko & Medicine For The People—are all still on, but are playing on different days (see the updated lineup poster below). Protoje and Landon McNamara are also out of the 2020 lineup completely and being replaced by Trevor Hall and Kash’d out.
With those scheduling and lineup exchanges in mind, Reggae Rise Up is offering ticket holders with stubs to attend single day concerts the opportunity to exchange their tickets for different days. Fans interested in swapping their tickets for Reggae Rise Up 2020 must complete a ticket swap form.
“If fans would like to keep their ticket for the same corresponding day of the new festival weekend they will not need do anything,” Reggae Rise Up wrote in a release. “A new wristband will be mailed to them in September at the original address they provided when purchasing via Eventbrite.”
Three-day general admission tickets are still available ($140) along with single-day GA tickets ($65). More information and a ticket swap form are available via reggaeriseupflorida.com.
