Grammy award-winning bluegrass music comes back to Tampa Bay thanks to party-oriented string band Steep Canyon Rangers. Comedian and banjo freak Steve Martin joined this North Carolina band in 2009 and left soon after, but the six-piece continues to prevail without the celebrity attachment. Expect the Rangers’ newest single “Call the Captain,” to lead Sunday night’s setlist. Superfans probably already know that the band is doing a charity meet-and-greet at the Safety Harbor Arts and Music Center eight miles away from the Cap.
