It should go without saying that the 69-year-old country legend misses the hell out of his son Justin Townes Earle (who died in 2020 of an accidental overdose) every waking hour of the day, but since his last visit to downtown Clearwater three years ago, he has been letting his boyโ€™s songs rest while he shifts back towards a full career retrospective.

On the other hand, Earleโ€™s little sister Stacey is set to open this solo set that will surely feature a few tales relating to his friends-slash-mentors Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt.
