Tampa’s Queen of Pop Jeremy Gloff helps Tampa Total Request Live (TTRL) celebrate Pride month on the downtown Riverwalk, and Gloff ain’t just a singer-songwriter anymore. The multiple Best of the Bay winner switches it up, often bringing out dance hits especially on his 2017 album Lightrail—check out the song “Nasty AF” for proof.
Otherworldly soul-singer Guianna brings her insane range to the stage (check out the vocal runs on “You Are Made of Magic”), and also on the bill are spoken word artist Samira Obeid and dancer Dominique McDougal.
Tickets are sold in pairs or by tables, so get you a vaccinated friend or two and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.
Full disclosure, this writer makes her rap debut on Gloff’s upcoming album Burn It Up! Turn It Up!, and he’s promising a performance of a brand new song from the effort at this outdoor show.
TTRL: Riverwalk and Chill Pride Edition w/Jeremy Gloff/Guianna/Samira Obeid/Dominique McDouga. Friday, June 18, $30-$60 7 p.m. Riverwalk Stage at David A. Straz Center for the Performing Arts, Tampa. strazcenter.org
