The last time Rome Ramirez stepped onstage at the olโ€™ Gary was last December at 97X โ€˜s Next Big Thing, when he got up with The Dirty Heads to perform โ€œLay Me Down.โ€

His band, Sublime with Romeโ€”featuring ex-Sublime bassist Eric Wilson, and newly equipped with Jason Vick behind the drum kitโ€”just had a spot at Reggae Rise Up less than six months ago, and while there hasnโ€™t been any talk of new music, who wouldnโ€™t want to open for San Diego reggae-punk outfit Slightly Stoopid, right?

Tickets to see Slightly Stoopid, Sublime with Rome, Atmosphere and The Movement play Tampaโ€™s Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Saturday, Sept. 2 are still available and start at $29.
