Tampa artist Chael Blinya free stages ‘Closing Date’ concert in Ybor City this weekend

This Saturday at The Bricks in Ybor City, as part of a series of shows celebrating a new LP (The Sir Roundings) Ghanaian-American rap and spoken-word artist Chael Blinya hosts a concert where he’ll perform a little from the effort but more or less welcome five other artists to the Bricks’ outdoor stage of a night of hip-hop and poetry.

The show, happening in conjunction with culture-curative collective Growhouse, is “$Free.99,” but donations are encouraged.
