After killing it at Gasparilla Music Festival two weekends ago, Tampa-based, electro-goth outfit Glove kept the upward momentum going with a shiny new video for “Modern Toy” produced by Cage the Elephant’s Brad Shultz.
The foursome already played Lollapalooza this summer, and next week the Tampa band heads to Atlanta’s Shaky Knees festival where it’s on the bill with Foo Fighters and St. Vincent. First up though, Glove supports California indie-punk outfit Wavves on all Florida dates including a Friday night stop at the Orpheum. Get you some Glove before it leaves for another tour and never comes back (I’m looking at you Benjamin Booker).
For $40, you can get balcony access, aka the best seats in the house.
