Members of Anberlin surprised us by showing up to the Tampa Bay Lightning’s recent game against the Anaheim Ducks, but this announcement caught us even more off guard.

The Winter Haven band, which played its last show in 2014, recently announced a reunion set as openers on a December 14 show headlined by Underoath, but it looks like the boys are gonna go for a warm-up gig the day before.

Today, the band announced a “secret show,” and we’re willing to bet that tickets for the December 13 gig at Orpheum in Ybor City are pretty close to sold out.

“After four years away, you know we couldn’t do just one show!,” the band wrote on Twitter. One one hand, the announcement is kind of weird since it may have an effect on sales at the Underoath show, but then again, who can really blame a band for wanting to get an extra show in after a long hiatus, especially when capacity at both venues is drastically different.
