Carrollhood — Carrollhood/Underoath — Erase Me It feels like cheating to lump these two releases together, but fuck it all. That’s what Tampa hard-rock band Underoath pretty much said on its April comeback album, Erase Me (which includes “On My Teeth,” a 2019 Grammy nominee for Best Metal Performance).

The band celebrated the release of its best LP to date with a December hometown show in front of 4,600 fans at a sold-out Yuengling Center, and one of its members (guitarist Tim McTague) teamed up with Nate Young (Anberlin) and Reed Murray (who recently left Say Anything) to release an EP of glitchy electro-noir under the Carrollhood moniker in January.
