Tampa Bay’s non-commercial community radio station, WMNF Tampa 88.5-FM, has found its niche (and raised a nice chunk of change for the listener-funded endeavor) by staging shows where it asks some of the Bay area’s most talented bands to play other peoples’ songs.

Saturday’s concert brings Broadway to Skipper’s as tunes from “Grease,” “Rent,” “West Side Story” and even “Hamilton” come to life underneath the Skipperdome.

On Broadway: The WMNF tribute to show tunes. Sat. Nov. 2, 6 p.m. $12. Skipper’s Smokehouse, Tampa. Wmnf.org.
