Aych Birthday Show An old-school pillar of the Tampa hip-hop scene celebrates another trip around the sun. Expect the true heads to come out (and hope these youngins come pay respect) when Aych — who once appeared on BET’s “106 & Park” — marks another born day by welcoming a bunch of his friends to come rock the mic in the same way Wu-Tang, Rick Ross and Ludacris once invited Aych to do for them so many years ago. TFO: Best of British If you miss the Wednesday early-morning (read: 11 a.m.) installment of this coffee with Michael Francis, then know that Florida Orchestra music director and concertmaster Jeffrey Multer will play some of Francis’ favorite English tunes (including Edward Elgar’s Enigma Variations and Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending) again on February 1 at Mahaffey Theater. ANTS MARCHING
Adam Ant Invasion at Palladium Theater, St. Petersburg

✔️ Adam Ant It’s a little hard to believe, but this sold-out show will be Adam Ant’s Capitol Theatre debut. It comes five years after the 62-year-old’s set at Tampa’s Hard Rock Café and nearly four decades after Mr. Ant (real name Stuart Leslie Goddard) captured the world’s attention on 1979’s Dirk Wears White Sox, where a band headed for a breakup (this Ants lineup only released one LP) managed to piece together a gleefully strange exploration of glam rock filled with songs that mined the minutiae of sex and loneliness with just enough self-absorption to turn it into a time-tested post-punk classic. We’re sure that Ant will also be apologetic about the fact this long-anticipated show got a little delayed when Irma forced him to cancel the original September 8 booking.
