✔️ Dying Whale w/The Gaffer Project/Saferwaters/Lipschitz/Crystallized “Imagine, if you would, what a Whale dying in the middle of nowhere Georgia would sound like. Good, now you’ve heard Dying Whale.” Most bands don’t throw that out there as a sonic descriptor, but you get to have that luxury when you make frenetic sludge-metal the way this Valdosta, Georgia outfit does. Roanoke rock duo Gaffer Project plays support along with Safewaters from St. Pete, Odessa skate-punk band Lipschitz and Dennis Martinell’s noise-pop project Crystallized.
