Tommy Phenom Bay area singer and guitarist Tommy Phenom has an unforgettable persona, Tommy had to cancel, but fans will get Danny & Alex in return. That bodes well for anyone who loves kitschy, polished pop and blue-eyed soul. Still a nice Thursday-night treat for Tampa Bay Lightning fans who find themselves out and about at the Arena before the game against the Tortonto Maple Leafs. The show is free, even if you don’t have a ticket to the game. (Ford Plaza at Amalie Arena, Tampa) INFO

Pavlo He calls what he does “Mediterranean music,” but 49-year-old guitarist Pavlo Simtikidis actually plays a mishmash of Greek, Flamenco, Latin, and even Balkan sounds that get shrouded in a guise of contemporary pop. He brings a 30-year career to the Palladium’s big room on Thursday. (Hough Hall at The Palladium Theater, St. Petersburg) INFO

Art & Soul w/Beyo/Garden Club/Juicy/Mari Sodope/Rell L/Tiff LaQueen/King Knoxygen/Charlie G. Left Lane Entertainment’s Art & Soul series returns to the basement at this downtown St. Petersburg eatery where a smooth mix of Bay area jazz, pop, soul and rap outfits showcase their talents. We’re familiar with the work of Garden Club, Beyo and Mari Sodope, but we’re curious to hear what Rell L and Tiff LaQueen have in store. (SubCentral at Iberian Rooster, St. Petersburg) INFO

Arlo Guthrie It’s always an occasion when an offspring of American folk icon Woody Guthrie is in town, but this show is in celebration of the 50th anniversary for Arlo’s song “Alice’s Restaurant Massacree” and its accompanying Oscar-nominated film, which found Arlo playing himself. The 18-minute anti-establishment classic took up an entire side of the album it was on, and audiences still love hearing the ballad unfold onstage. (Capitol Theatre, Clearwater) INFO
