✔️ Beer Garden Sessions w/Bob Log III A true American original, the mysterious Bob Log III combines “old, weird America” tools and sound with a Space Age image for a show that’s utterly unlike anything else you will experience. The juxtapositions are jarring: Silvertone and slide guitar meet Star Wars-esque headgear; cosmic pyrotechnics meet mutant Appalachian songforms; spectacle meets the classics in a wood chipper. What’s more is that a free show as part of Crowbar’s Beer Garden Sessions makes it a no-brainer. —Matthew Moyer (Crowbar, Ybor City) INFO

✔️ Beartooth w/Knocked Loose/Sylar Ohio hardcore band Beartooth has made some pretty good friends in the Bay area (Underoath, who went on tour with the band last year; TNSN DVSN, a Tampa-based creative house which handled the aesthetic of Beartooth’s new album, Disease). Expect the new homies to be in the house on Wednesday, and keep your fingers crossed on the band possibly joining Underoath at its December show at Yeungling Center where the entire bill is yet to be revealed (we're probably wrong on that, but a team can dream).
