Tampa Bay musicians are among the many individuals across the country trying to help Nashville bounce back from a tornado that ripped through four counties on Wednesday night on the way to killing over 20 people and wrecking countless buildings.

On March 15, Hideaway Café—located at 1756 Central Ave. in downtown St. Petersburg—hosts a stacked benefit for Nashville relief. All funds raised will be donated to the Middle Tennessee Emergency Relief Fund, which helps victims of natural disasters and redistributes funds to other vital nonprofits in the area.

The lineup for this fundraiser consists of Tampa Bay-based singer songwriters and bands that span from indie-rock to alt-country. Three artists who released some of Tampa Bay’s best local music of 2019—Liam Bauman (pictured), Kristopher James, and The Burke Bros of Have Gun, Will Travel—are on the bill along with Leon Majcen, Cat Ridgeway, Jordan Esker and are all set to take the Hideaway Cafe stage next week for this concert for a cause.

Both cash and PayPal donations will be accepted throughout the entire show. Friends at our former sibling paper Nashville Scene have more information on how to further help post-tornado Nashville.
