Though Latimore calls Tampa Bay home, local shows from the soul singer usually only happen every year, or so. The keyboardist and Blues Hall of Famer has performed for almost 60 years, hitting it big in the ‘70s thanks to his version of Gladys Knight “If I Were Your Woman.”
Friday night’s St. Pete show is extra special because in addition to Latimore’s usual passionate performance, WMNF DJ Billy C. Wirtz interviews the legend, making it an especially “intimate evening.” Let's hope Latimore gives up some of the good stuff from his storied career.
Masks are required for this inside show, vaccinated or not.
