Techno can sometimes be a passive listening practice, but some producers turn the EDM subgenre into a more visceral experience.

DJ Three has been a staple of the Florida scene since the early-’90s and brings the most gripping elements of UK hardcore, jungle and breakbeat for his live set. He tops the first anniversary for the Refuge party alongside residents Kay-S, Rat Galactic and Blak.

Tickets to the Refuge one-year anniversary with DJ Three on Saturday, Aug. 3 at St. Pete Brewing Co. are still available and start at $22.85.
