Vern Senior was one of our favorite members of Tampa's Young Parisians collective, and while he's no longer part of the group, things are still looking up for the self-proclaimed "non space age pimp" who's actually celebrating a birthday in a couple of weeks.

Just listen to a new single, "Straight To It," a three-and-a-half minute thumper that puts you in the Yeadillac for a ride where his throaty, mid tempo delivery gets spread across intergalactic production created by Vern himself.

"I am a self produced artist and this is the first of a string of releases that are going to be coming out this year," Senior told CL in an email. "My only plan after disbanding from the Young Parisians is to further my craft and business ventures as well as helping to build and bring spotlight to the artistic community in Tampa Bay."
