Tampa’s biggest exports—Cuban culture and metal—combine forces this weekend at the Brass Mug. South Florida band Modern Mimes (pictured) headlines the Saturday night event, with progressive metal sounds before true Tampa death metal comes through with acts Silenmara and Blood of Angels. A bunch of other Florida acts fill the bill including my favorite-named indescribable artist Lil $ithlord.
