In an interview with Creative Loafing Tampa Bay, Tampa rapper Big Baby Scumbag touched on a lot of things including future projects, Tom Brady and coronavirus, but we left one thing off the table: Netflix’s hit docuseries “Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness.”

The binge-worthy series tells the long and meandering tale about a failed murder plot involving Tampa’s Big Cat Rescue, and it’s main characters Joe Exotic—a renagade, Okalahoma zookeeper who was probably a sexual predator—and Big Cat Rescue founder and CEO Carole Baskin, who’s essentially accused of murdering her ex-husband Don Lewis in the film (Baskin vehemently denies the accusation).

There’ve been a wide range of reactions to the series, and people have fallen on Team Joe or Team Carole in a nationwide conversation that pretty much ignores the fact exotic animals are still being kept in cages at an alarming rate.

We also know where Big Baby Scumbag falls thanks to this “Free Joe Exotic” freestyle dropped this month. The track—whose cover art is an homage to Cash Money Records—is a high-energy mess that’ll have you bouncing off the walls in the best way. Listen to it on Soundcloud, and bop along to a lyric video below.
