How do you know that Tampaโ€™s a hell of a town?

An up-and-coming rapper whose name includes โ€œKenobiโ€ is hosting a release party for his debut album on Star Wars Day.

The New York-bred MCโ€”who once successfully put together a โ€œstrip club anthemโ€ called โ€œLet Me See Sumโ€โ€”has kept the details of Everything You Wanted under wraps for the most part, but has described the opening track as a โ€œsymphony [he] produced,โ€ and one of his favorite songs on the album.

Local art, clothing, and candle vendors will be on site at the gig along with a visiting bartender with a limited time โ€œDark Sideโ€ old-fashioned up her sleeve.

There’s no cover for the Lil Kenobi album release happening at Shuffle Tampa on Saturday, May 4.
