Cooler temps (heh) mean the return of Gasparilla Music Festival’s Streetcar Live series, and this month’s installment finds an alum of the festival (Tampa rapper Sam E. Hues) taking to the rails in support of his new album, Easy Tiger.

In the past, Hues’ backing bands have included a menagerie of instruments, including trumpet, so it’ll be interesting to see what we can cram onto the streetcar on Saturday. If you’d like to see how Hues and his friends are helping add flavor to Ybor City, then head out to the historic district the night before when Hues’ Dojo Sounds studio celebrates a grand opening with live art and music.

The streetcar concerts runs from Centennial Park to downtown Tampa’s Franklin Street and are free to attend.

Streetcar Live: Sam E. Hues Sat. Nov. 2, Leaves Centennial Park station at 5 p.m. No cover. TECO Line Streetcar System, Tampa. INFO.
