On her new album, Codependents, Tampa songwriter Jasmine Lopez plays piano-driven pop and soul that at times is deep in love (“Paralyzed”) or a little perturbed (“She Knows”).

“The album takes the listener on a journey through heartbreak and toxic codependent relationships. But more importantly, it’s a story about finding the love within,” Lopez—who performs under the moniker T.R.U.E.—told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay.

She releases Codependents at The Portico one of downtown Tampa’s more beautiful venues alongside songwriter-saxophonist Zeta the Babe and songwriter Syd Live.

Tickets to the T.R.U.E album release show with Zeta the Babe and Syd Live on Saturday, July 8 at The Portico in Tampa are still available for $10.
