On paper, Gloffy and Jeff Brawer make strange bedfellows. One is a Tampa pop icon with about two dozen albums under his belt while the other writes working class acoustic punk songs at whatever pace he goddamn well pleases. In real life, however, the boys are pretty close to BFFs, and it’ll be cool to see them both onstage at Ella’s Americana Folk Art Café, a Seminole Heights eatery which has long figured out how to hold live music events under the odd and always-changing rules the Sunshine State is imposing any given week. Reservations are required.

Tampa Bay venues and promoters need you to bug Marco Rubio about saving the live music scene.
