The renowned filmmaker won’t be at this preview screening and street party for his new Country Music doc, but the event is a chance to see the first installment of the series three days before it screens on PBS for the first time. Bonus points if you make it out to the theater’s Linda Ronstadt doc screening on Tuesday.

Country Music: A film by Ken Burns w/The Easy Posse, Thurs. Sept. 12, 7:30 p.m. No cover. Tampa Theatre, Tampa. tampatheatre.org.
