Fans of Tears for Fears who don’t believe in the pop music of today may want to go see Small Black play Tampa’s Hooch and Hive on Sunday, Feb. 27.
The Phoebe Bridgers-approved vaporwave band has a new single, “Tampa,” where it channels the English outfit through “the lens of a vacation gone wrong on the coast of Florida.”
Joining the Brooklyn outfit is L.A. indie-pop songwriter Caroline Loveglow. Indie-rock group The Forum rounds out the bill for this Gasparilla Music afterparty, but one of its members was in a car crash last weekend.
“Some version of The Forum will still be performing,” the band assured fans.
