Saturday is stacked with EDM, if you don’t like sleeping (Paul Oakenfold is reviving Coachella 2001 at The Ritz). The Disco Lemonade folks are throwing a Sundown Sounds Pool Party with a ton of DJs starting at 11 a.m. at WTR.

The party used to happen on a boat (see a promo from 2019 below), but promoters had to pivot on the feel of this party after some “last minute boat cancelations.”

“All of the headliners will be playing at this event. We also are working on a 2nd stage for this venue,” the promoter wrote.

When Creative Loafing Tampa Bay sent this to the printer, an afterparty was supposed to start at Ybor City’s Tangra Nightclub starts at 9 p.m. (Tangra is one of a handful of bars that got a slap on the wrist for not following city coronavirus ordinances; the nightclub’s liquor license is suspended for three days later in the month.)

But by the time CL’s print issue hit newsstands, the Tangra party was already headed to another venue, described on the event page as a "secret warehouse" with a location only provided once you get a ticket. The ‘90s are back!

Sundown Sounds Pool Party, Saturday, March 12, 11 a.m. $20-$99. WTR at the Godfrey Hotel, Tampa. INFO
