Looks like Bay area pop-music fans are gonna lose a show to go to. On Tuesday, Tampa's Hot 101.5 FM canceled its inaugural Summer Jam concert set for June 29 at Amalie Arena.

Meghan Trainor, Alessia Cara, One Direction’s Liam Payne, Sean Paul, Kent Jones, and Madison Beer were supposed to perform, and the radio station gave no excuses for pulling the plug.

"Unfortunately, the HOT 101.5 Summer Jam will not occur on June 29th. Refunds will be issued or will be available at point of purchase," is all the station wrote.

Maybe Trainor will announce a headlining date of her own to make fans feel better.
